For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB Junge 22.9.78 Kosmonauten-Hain an der Sternwarte. Eine Erinnerungsstätte des Kosmosfluges von Waleri Bykowski und Sigmund Jähn wurde am 21.9.78 auf dem Vorplatz der Archenhold-Sternwarte eingeweiht. Hier befindet sich auch die von Gerhard Rommel geschaffene Bronzebüste des DDR-Forschungskosmonauten Sigmund Jähn, die das rege Interesse der Besucher des "Hains der Kosmonauten" findet. |
