Summary

Description
English: Half-length (4 m) version of the HEAT booster (Hybrid Exo Atmospheric Transporter). The unpainted part is the LOX tank, the white part is the combined combustion chamber and fuel compartment (paraffin wax).The red plate is a handling device. The half-length HEAT is expected to launch a crash test dummy to 40 km altitude in June 2010. The full-length HEAT should be able to send one person up in space in a parabolic flight. The supersonic wedged fins are not yet fitted.
