Description

English: The Expedition 24 crew members (from top to bottom) -- NASA astronaut Shannon Walker, Doug Wheelock and Soyuz commander Fyodor Yurchikhin of Russia's Federal Space Agency -- wave farewell from the bottom of the Soyuz rocket at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Baikonur, Kazakhstan, prior to their launch. Walker, Wheelock and Yurchikhin launched in their Soyuz TMA-19 rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 5:35 p.m. (EDT) June 15, 2010 (3:35 a.m., June 16, Kazakhstan time).
