Description

In the Heroes and Legends exhibit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, a memorial wreath was placed following a ceremony to honor the memory of former NASA astronaut Richard Gordon. He performed two spacewalks during Gemini XI in 1966 and was command module pilot on Apollo 12 in 1969. Gordon died Nov. 6, 2017, at the age of 88. Photo credit: NASA/ Michelle Stone
