Description

English: The Soyuz TMA-02M spacecraft is seen at the launch pad just after being raised into a vertical position at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on June 5, 2011. The rocket is being prepared for launch June 8 to carry the crew of Expedition 28 to the International Space Station. The launch of the Soyuz spacecraft with its three-man crew is scheduled for June 8, 2011 (local time). The crew consists of Russian cosmonaut and Soyuz commander Sergei Volkov, NASA astronaut Mike Fossum and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Satoshi Furukawa, both flight engineers.
