Oleg Vladimirovich Platonov is a Russian cosmonaut selected by Roscosmos in 2018 as part of the Group 17 cosmonaut selection. A former military pilot and engineer, Platonov was scheduled to make his first spaceflight aboard the Soyuz MS-25 mission to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2025.
