Ajit Krishnan is an Indian Air force (IAF) test pilot in rank of Group Captain and a Gaganyatri with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), selected for India's human spaceflight programme. He, along with other three test pilots, Shubhanshu Shukla, Prasanth Nair and Angad Pratap, were selected to be part of India's first crewed space mission expected to be launched in 2027.
